Jennifer Rodis is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacy at The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Ohio Northern University and completed her residency training at The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy. Her practice site is Clinical Partners, which is an ambulatory care clinic affiliated with The Ohio State University Medical Center; the clinic received the ASHP Best Practices Award for Health System Pharmacy in 2004. Jennifer Rodis provides various disease management services in therapeutic areas of diabetes, anticoagulation, hepatitis C, and preventative health and wellness. She is a member of APhA, ASHP, ACCP, AACP, and OPA. Her teaching and research is focused upon drug information and the implementation of pharmacist-run disease management services in ambulatory and community settings. She is currently involved in the expansion of the Clinical Partners’ disease management services into interdisciplinary outpatient environments and community pharmaceutics.
Dr. Rodis’s research has led to publications in the American Journal of Health-Systems Pharmacists and Annals of Pharmacotherapy. She was interviewed for an article in Medical Office Nurse and has conducted peer reviews for articles published in Pharmacist’s Letter, American Journal of Pharmaceutical Education, Journal of the American Pharmacists Association, and Pharmacy Today. Dr. Rodis has presented multiple poster presentations, locally and nationally, in the areas of hepatitis C, cardiac risk reduction, pharmacist reimbursement, patient satisfaction, and antibiotic resistance. Dr. Rodis has provided national presentations on the development and implementation of pharmaceutical care testing services in community pharmacies and is a trainer for APhA's Diabetes Care and Immunization Certificate programs. She is currently working on an outreach project to expand patient care services provided in community pharmacies in Ohio through the Partner for Promotion program.
