Biography

Christine Murphy, earned her BS in Pharmacy from the Ohio State University. Christine has practiced pharmacy in a variety of settings: Home Infusion, Accreditation for Joint Commission (JCAHO), Hospital , and Long Term Care. Christine is currently the Coordinator for Intermediate Practice Experience at the Ohio State University College of Pharmacy, where she places students in their clinical rotations. Christine also has a practice at an independent living apartment complex for low-income older adults. Christine and junior and senior pharmacy students help the residents better understand their medications and chronic diseases by doing medication reviews in the residents’ apartments. For residents who have no prescription insurance, Christine and her students help them access the manufacturer sponsored medication assistance programs. Christine is married to Tom Murphy. Tom and Christine have three grown children and three granddaughters.
