Translational Science ultimately translates research from the laboratory to the patient as well as the reverse. Translational scientists conduct studies at the interface of the laboratory and the clinic.
Education and training of a health care professional in both clinical and basic science provides a strong foundation for the translational scientist. Our program provides this foundation permitting students and practitioners to participate in patient-oriented research that can span the continuum of "bench-to-bedside".
The college is offering this Translational Science Graduate Program because opportunities have never been greater to use modern research advances and other novel strategies to bring new insights into the study of diseases affecting human populations.

The program here at The Ohio State University's College of Pharmacy is designed for students who are currently enrolled in the Doctor of Pharmacy program or who have completed a Pharm.D. degree.
