OSU Doctor of Pharmacy Program Ranked Number 5 by
U.S. News & World Report

College of Pharmacy

The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy and it's Doctor of Pharmacy program have recently been ranked number 5 by the U.S. News & World Report 2009 edition of “America's Best Graduate Schools”. U.S. News & World Report performs a perceptual ranking of PharmD programs.  Ranking forms are sent to deans, associate deans, and department chairs in all the colleges/schools of pharmacy in the United States.

The College of Pharmacy's ranking is the result of a number of accomplishments, which include:

  • Outstanding PharmD, graduate, and residency programs
  • National awards and recognitions by our faculty, students, staff and alumni
  • Successful and highly visible research and scholarship of our faculty, students, and staff
  • Involvement of faculty on national committees
  • Improved print and web communication pieces including annual reports and alumni newsletters

As reported by OSU Today, The Ohio State University also received top five rankings in vocational/ technical education, counseling/personnel services (education), dispute resolution (law), industrial design, American politics, social psychology, and veterinary medicine.

"While small variations occur year to year both up and down, our continuing trend is positive. I am especially pleased by the outstanding progress of pharmacy, physical therapy and fine arts."
