Purpose:
to showcase the research activities of the College and recognize and celebrate the important role of the College in the biomedical research enterprise.
Activities:
A symposium held in recognition of the research of Pharmacy Practice & Administration and Poster-format presentations of research by college faculty, students, and research staff.
The College of Pharmacy Research Day 2009 is an all-day event with poster displays of current researcher projects and an afternoon symposium. Research is a major enterprise of College of Pharmacy and covers an extensive array of areas in pharmaceutical sciences. This year the symposium will focus on research from the Pharmacy Practice & Administration division. A reception will follow the symposium. The Research Day is intended to promote interdisciplinary discussions and interactions relating to drug discovery, development and therapeutics. The Research Day will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 in the Biomedical Research Tower (BRT), 460 W. 12th Ave. More details regarding the symposium program will be posted soon.

Parking at OSU is always a problem. Several visitor parking garages are within walking distance (see Parking Map):
SOUTH Medical Garage (2 min walk), 12th Avenue Garage (5 min walk), Neil Avenue Garage (new, 5 min walk), Hospitals Garage (new, 10 min walk). The Blackwell Inn has a shuttle service if you are staying there.

State of Ohio Continuing Education credits will be provided to qualifying pharmacists through The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy, a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Pharmacist participants must attend the entire symposium program and complete a program evaluation to receive Continuing Education credit. OH CE Statements of Participation will be provided to successful participants at the completion of the program.
