Purpose:
to showcase the research activities of the College and recognize and celebrate the important role of the College in the biomedical research enterprise.
Activities:
A symposium held in recognition of the pharmaceutics research of Dr. Sylvan Frank and his former graduate students and Poster-format presentations of research by college faculty, students, and research staff.

The College of Pharmacy Research Day 2008 is an all-day event with poster displays of current researcher's projects and an afternoon symposium. Research is a major enterprise of College of Pharmacy and covers an extensive array of areas in pharmaceutical sciences. This year the symposium will focus on research in the pharmaceutics area and features the research of Dr. Sylvan Frank and his former graduate students. A reception will follow the symposium.
The Research Day is intended to promote interdisciplinary discussions and interactions relating to drug discovery, development and therapeutics.
The Research Day will be held on Monday, May 19, 2008 in the Biomedical Research Tower (BRT), 460 W. 12th Ave. More details regarding the symposium program will be posted soon.
