Research is a major enterprise of College of Pharmacy and covers an extensive array of areas in pharmaceutical sciences. This year, the symposium was held in honor of current and emeritus professors who specialized in natural products research & pharmacognosy. The symposium featured lectures from alumni who studied under our professors, and a reception following the symposium to allowed for informal interactions. The Research Day is one of many new activities in the College that promote interdisciplinary discussions and interactions for knowledge exchange relating to drug discovery, development and therapeutics.
