Graduates Recognized at the College of Pharmacy's Doctoral Convocation Hooding & Awards Ceremony

The College of Pharmacy Doctoral Convocation Hooding & Awards Ceremony was held June 7, 2008, at Mershon Auditorium.  There were 121 graduates from the entry-level PharmD and non-traditional PharmD programs.  Of those students, 48 graduated with honors: 27 graduated cum laude, 17 graduated magna cum laude, and four graduated summa cum laude. 

Several awards were presented at the event, including:

• The Miriam R. Balshone Memorial Award for Distinguished Teaching to Dr. Milap Nahata
• The Faculty Award to the Outstanding Graduating Student of the Year to April Hildebrand
• The Stephen W. Birdwell Student Award to Karissa Kusick

An informal reception was held in Mershon Auditorium's court yard following the ceremony.
