Robert Brueggemeier |
Robert Brueggemeier, OSU professor and dean of the College of Pharmacy, has been selected to receive the Tyler Prize for Stimulation of Research Award by the American Pharmacists Association, presented in March at the APhA Annual Meeting and Exposition in San Diego, California.
The award recognizes outstanding stimulation of research in peers, students, fellows, residents and others via publications or by research directing, serving as a preceptor, or mentoring in any discipline of the pharmaceutical sciences. His areas of research specialization are medicinal chemistry, steroid chemistry and biochemistry, and hormones and breast cancer. Brueggemeier has mentored 27 graduate students and 10 postdoctoral fellows.
